The Manifesting Latina
You’ve Already Quantum Leaped, Now Do It Again and Again!
Quantum leaping isn't just for quantum physicists—it's something you've already mastered without even realizing it. From navigating two cultures to being the first in your family to attend college, start a business, or break into corporate spaces, you've been collapsing timelines and shifting your family's trajectory in ways that defy statistical probability.
Why then do so many of us still feel stuck or behind? Because we're measuring our growth against linear expectations when our most significant breakthroughs happen quantum-ly, not logically. When I was a college freshman from immigrant parents with elementary school education, statistics said I shouldn't have been there at all. Yet there I was, standing before my predominantly white classmates, explaining how my very presence defied probability. That awareness itself was revolutionary.
The truth is, growth isn't a ladder—it's a series of leaps. Those random downloads to launch something new, the feeling it's time to leave a comfortable job, or the nudge to invest in yourself even when it's scary? These aren't random thoughts; they're portals to your next expansion. Your intuition is offering you quantum shortcuts that could collapse decades of incremental growth into months or years. The key isn't doing more—it's listening deeper and following the nudges that feel aligned, even when they don't make logical sense.
Take a moment to honor how far you've come. What timelines have you already shifted? What generational cycles have you broken? Then ask: What would a quantum leap look like for me now? Remember, you're a walking miracle who has already defied odds. Your next expansion isn't waiting in logical steps—it's waiting in your intuitive knowing. Are you ready to leap again?

Hey everyone, welcome back to the Manifesting Latina podcast with me, your host, dr Norma Reyes, and today's episode is going to be about quantum leaping and how. You have already quantum leap and I'm going to prove it to you so that you can see how to continue growing in a way that you want to, because you are wanting to quantum leap again, even if you don't even understand what that means. You do and let me give you a few little examples. And that is like if you want to double your salary, if you want to be able to travel the world, if you want to have a more prominent job that you currently do, if you want to grow your family, if you want to find a partner. All of those are quantum leaps, even if you're like, how, what is that? That's just life. But just trust me, you have quantum leap, even if you don't even know it, and so this episode is for you. This episode is for people who come from immigrant families, people who were there first to go to college in their family. Finish college, get a career, start a business, be in the corporate world. This episode is for you. So if that is you and you've done the impossible, let me tell you you have quantum leaped. You have collapsed timelines, you have shifted your family's trajectory and yet somehow you might still feel stuck and behind or like you should be further along. So let's go ahead and unravel that so you can celebrate your quantum leaps. And I don't have the stats on me now, but I will share.
Speaker 1:When I was a freshman in college and for those of you that may not know, my parents are both from Mexico. I am a first-gen Mexican-American. My parents probably went up to like third grade and sixth grade. I don't remember exactly, but I know like elementary school level education and they didn't have very many supports when they were here. We literally just grew up like it was just me and my parents and my siblings. Um, we literally just grew up like it was just me and my parents and my siblings, um, yeah, and so I was the first in my family to go to college. I have two older sisters. One of them didn't complete past middle school. One of them was a teen parent and then did go back and finish, finish high school, um, and then she probably took a few college courses and then my younger brother did start college but he didn't finish, and so I was the first to attend and complete college and I remember my freshman year of college.
Speaker 1:I was in my. I think it was like what class was that? I don't remember. I don't even remember what class it was, I just know we had to do a presentation, and you know who likes doing presentations in class Not me, I don't know. There's probably somebody out there that does. So I decided to choose and for some reason that year, as I look back, I my presentations were very pointed in that they are very much of like sharing about my background, and I think back and I'm like man I didn't even consider myself that much of an activist kind of thing Like I felt like I was shouting to this room of white classmates Not everybody was white, but it felt that way and it was like like saying, like I'm here and this is me and this is my reality, like giving a picture to who I was. So I remember going and presenting and I'm again I don't remember what class this was, but I was explaining that I didn't belong in the classroom. I was, according to statistics, an anomaly because I was the first in my family to go to college and my parents were immigrants and, according to statistics, it said that I should be pregnant and a high school dropout and not have even ever gone to college. I just remember going up there and presenting that and feeling like I'm educating these people to get to understand who I am and why me being there is so important, me being there is so important, and so there in that moment, me even talking about that, because I was just a very quiet person in the sense of like not really calling attention to myself and really just doing what I need to do, just to keep, just to finish and be done and moving to the next step. And so I'm just so proud of that version of me who did it, who presented, who was vulnerable and shared that with those people, and maybe that none of them even remember it, but I remember it and it was so impactful for myself. So that is a moment, aside from me being in college.
Speaker 1:That in itself is a quantum leap. If you just go based on statistics and logic. I quantum leaped. I quantum leaped by finishing high school. I quantum leaped by going to college. I quantum leaped by believing that I could go to college. There was no doubt in my mind that I was going. And so you got to think of moments like that, when you had no doubt in your mind about something, a goal that you had, whatever it is. And even if you're thinking like, oh well, I, I went to college but I didn't even finish, that was still a quantum leap, because, guess what? No one else had done that. Or if other people have done that, that's fine. Know that for you it still was the quantum leap. Okay, a quantum leap isn't just a big shift, it's a soul shift. It's when you jump from one reality to another with belief, action and alignment and not through logical steps.
Speaker 1:Right, because if I had followed logic to believe that college was impossible because my parents were immigrants, or because my parents couldn't help me with college, or because they didn't have money to support me, or that they had no knowledge of how to get into college, that could have been the path that I took, but instead I didn't. I saw what was around me. I knew I wanted to go to college. I worked my best to figure it out and went to college, and not only did I go to college, but I got my master's degree, I got my PhD right. Like all of these quantum leaps that occurred because I believed in that version of myself existing somewhere. And I have to tell y'all, wanting to get a PhD happened like around when I was 10, because I read so much and I still read so much now such a bookworm. Around when I was 10, because I read so much and I still read so much now such a bookworm. But I just remember seeing books written by people who had PhDs and I wanted to have one too. That's really how that started.
Speaker 1:But again, that's a quantum leap. How is a 10-year-old believing that they could get a PhD when they have no real knowledge of what that means. I know that I didn't know what it meant then, other than it's something, it's a degree of some sort, and I want that. So here's the thing Many of us have already quantum leaped without realizing it, and I didn't think about it back then. So I want you to know that you've been navigating two cultures. That is quantum leaping. You've decoded college systems your family never explained to you, maybe professional corporate systems that no one has explained to you, that you have just figured out on your own. You have showed up in spaces where you were the only one who looked or sounded like you. That is quantum leaping. When you've had a moment of I don't belong here. That is a quantum leap because you are going beyond what society, what logic says you should be.
Speaker 1:So that's quantum, that's spiritual, that's growth. You may have been taught that if we do all the right things, success will follow in a straight line, such as you graduate, you get a job, you get the promotion, you buy a house. But I don't have to tell y'all that's not how it works, because growth isn't linear, growth is energetic, it is spiritual and it is quantum. So if you are following the traditional way of going about life, meaning like, oh, I'm going to work hard because my work's going to show for it, people are going to see me for who I am and give me the promotion I deserve. Or, if I save X amount of money, I'm going to be able to get the house that I want, my dream house, this specific house. All of that is very, very, very logical, and there's nothing wrong with the logical, because you need logic, because that's just part of life. But what I'm trying to get you guys to understand here is that the growth that you are wanting is quantum, is energetic, is spiritual, and that will lead you to decisions that are out of the norm for you, that are not within your current paradigm. And the reason for it is because either you can take the logical steps, and it'll take 20 years to get there, or you can quantum leap and get there in a year or get there in five years.
Speaker 1:So, for example, I remember whenever I would do the FAFSA and get my parents' taxes information and at the time I don't know anything about salaries or how much they're making or anything like that. But fast forward and I graduate, I get my first job and after some time I realized oh man, when I went to college, my parents combined, combined, were making about $30,000. And at the time and this is like about 20 years ago, so like 2002 to 2007, at the time an income of $30,000 wasn't even poor enough for me to have school paid for, like I still had to take out loans because, according to them, my parents could help me with $3,000. So I'm not even going to go down that rabbit hole, but you know, and so I was just reflecting, like, my first job out of college was making $32,000. So literally making as much as my parents were combined. Now, fast forward to now I help my parents with their taxes. And now they're making somewhere around in the 40s individually, right, so together would be like a combined of 80, but they're not together. So now they're in the 40s, right, so they were. Let's say, let's pretend they're making 15,000 each, right, and now, 20 years later, they are making 40,000. That's the logical path they're doing. They're showing up working, showing up working right, like, and then just taking that 25 cent raise every year, getting low raises, low raises and the logic, little tiny step.
Speaker 1:So for me I collapsed that into five years. Well, maybe less than that probably two or three years where I went from 30 to 40. And then another few years from 40 to 90, collapsing, that time quantum leaping, because I changed the way I was doing things. I wasn't just showing up to work. And there's other life events that have happened and occurred in my life that have assisted me in quantum leaping, and at the time it may not seem like it for you and others For myself, I mean, I always feel like everything that happens happens for a reason.
Speaker 1:So in 2010, I was laid off from that job actually my first big girl job. So I was laid off from that job and about nine months later I probably got like a $5,000 raise, maybe more, I don't remember $5,000 to $6,000 raise. But I wouldn't have had that raise as I probably would have just stayed there for my first job because I didn't know any better or any different. But the universe helped me along my path and was like no, like you're not meant to get a 25 cent raise every year to then make 50,000 after 20 years. Like, no, that's not your path and if you're listening to this, that's not your path either. And if you're listening to this, that's not your path either. It's not.
Speaker 1:And so then you just got to start tuning in to what are the quantum leaps that you are desiring. And then what do you need to do? How do you need to shift your energy, how do you need to shift in your spiritual growth to start taking those quantum leaps? Taking those quantum leaps? So, if you expect it to always be a step-by-step process, you'll end up feeling stuck, stagnant or even entitled, feeling like why am I not further along? Why am I not ahead? I've been doing everything that I've been told to do, but quantum growth doesn't work like that. It's leaps, not ladders, and sometimes you don't know if there's anything past the leap. You have to follow your intuition. It's not about logic, because logic is based on the past and your expansion isn't in the past, it's in the future. You're co-creating with the universe. So let's talk about how to leap again, because you can and you will.
Speaker 1:The key is not about doing more, it's about listening deeper. Aligned decisions don't always make sense to others. Sometimes they don't even make sense to your past self, but they feel right in your body. And I say, as I say, that I just think about that time, presenting my freshman year and really saying like look at this, look what I've done. And I look back. I'm like I know that wasn't the version of me at the time, who was timid, who didn't want any extra attention, who was barely trying to figure themselves out. But there was also a part of me that really wanted to embrace my cultural background and the challenges that I overcame, to be there at the university and to show like I'm brown and I'm proud and I'm here.
Speaker 1:So let me get us back on track, talking about quantum leaping. So when you listen deeper, it's like the random download to launch something new, that feeling that it's time to leave the job, even if it's a safe job, that nudge to invest in yourself, even when it's scary. Those are portals. And when you say yes and you leap, the growth that you have is so exponential that you don't even remember that past version of yourself. I would even add layoffs. You know layoffs? Sudden changes, a loss of a loved one those can be quantum leaps. Those can be moments where you grow.
Speaker 1:Of course, it's not guaranteed unless you are willing to take the leap. Let's take a moment to honor how far you've come, though Close your eyes. Unless you're driving, please don't close your eyes. Take a deep breath in. Hold it and release. Take another nice deep breath in. Take another nice deep breath in. Hold it and release. Take one more deep, cleansing breath in. Hold and release.
Speaker 1:Now ask yourself what timelines have I already shifted? What generational cycles have I broken? What spaces have I entered that no one in my family had access to? Now ask yourself where am I trying to grow logically instead of intuitively? What would a quantum leap look like for me now? What if I stopped waiting for permission and followed the nudge Again? Growth isn't guaranteed, but alignment. That's your power, and when you choose aligned action over shoulds, you move faster, freer and more joyfully. Remember, you are a walking miracle. You move faster, freer and more joyfully. Remember, you are a walking miracle. You've already defied odds and shifted timelines. Now it's time to trust your intuition even more and let that be the map for your next expansion.
